Why is the data in Exirio different from the data in the connected external Institution?
This is normally due to 3 reasons:
Sometimes the Institution only sends the current Balances and there is not much we can do other than suggesting you import your data manually.
More often, the Institution doesn't send the information right away and it can take up to a day to receive it. For this you just need to wait and check the day to see if the data is there.
Often, Institutions won't send the full history of old accounts. 12 months is a common cutoff point but it varies from Institution to Institution. The information going forward will work and we hope Institutions improve their data sharing in the future but there isn't much else we can do at the moment.
In most of these cases, it's very likely that you find an autogenerated Balancing Transaction in your Positions as we try to recreate the missing data. You can read more about it here: Balancing Transactions
